Role Description
The Pre-Sales Engineer is a pivotal role responsible for managing the sales process from receiving
leads to closing deals within the MEA region, with a specific focus on the GCC market. This role requires
a deep understanding of the company’s full range of services and divisions, including consultancy,
inspection, training, and technology solutions. The Pre-Sales Lead ensures alignment with business
development, R&D, and marketing objectives to drive profitability and growth. Additionally, the role
involves conducting market research, developing optimal pricing structures for each service line, and
collaborating with R&D to introduce innovative services and solutions.
 
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the pre-sales process across the MEA region, with a primary focus on the GCC area.
2. Ensure alignment with regional market needs and cultural nuances in client engagement.
3. Manage the entire sales cycle, from receiving leads to closing deals.
4. Ensure all leads are effectively tracked and converted through a structured CRM process.
5. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all company services and divisions (consultancy,

inspection, training, and technology).
6. Prepare accurate and competitive technical and financial proposals tailored to client needs.
7. Collaborate with R&D to introduce new services and solutions to meet market demands.
8. Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends and client needs.
9. Develop and implement optimal pricing structures for each service line to maximize profitability.
10. Monitor competitor pricing and market positioning to ensure competitiveness.
11. Work closely with business development, R&D, and marketing teams to align pre-sales efforts with
company objectives.
12. Ensure marketing campaigns and business development strategies support the pre-sales pipeline.
13. Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the pre-sales process.
14. Provide technical clarifications and deliver persuasive presentations to secure client buy-in.
15. Continuously improve the pre-sales process, including creating templates and standard procedures.
16. Implement a system for tracking lead conversion rates and lessons learned from proposals.
 
 
Goals:
1. Achieve targeted pre-sales growth in the MEA region, focusing on the GCC area. 
2. Ensure 100% of leads are followed up and pursued, achieving a conversion rate of at least 60% 
within six months. 
3. Develop pricing structures that maintain or exceed a 30% profit margin on average for each service 
line. 
4. Monitor and adjust pricing strategies quarterly to respond to market changes. 
5. Collaborate with R&D to introduce at least two new services or solutions annually. 
6. Conduct quarterly competitor analysis and market research to identify new opportunities. 
7. Ensure full alignment with business development, marketing, and R&D strategies. 
8. Conduct monthly joint planning sessions with these departments to synchronize efforts. 
9. Deliver tailored proposals with a 95% client satisfaction rate, measured through feedback surveys.
